Declaration Form
All teams must complete the TREA TAP Declaration Form and submit it to the TAP organizer (threeriverstap2@gmail.com) to have the team be official (Due Date: March 1st, 2024). Once the team has been declared, then scores can be sent in and team members can start accruing points.
TAP Activities Forms
Points are earned by submitting the TAP Activities Forms to the TAP organizer. There are a variety of shows and educational events that riders can submit to earn points. Each team member must have a score from at least 1 show (Virtual, Sanctioned, or Recognized TREA shows) and 1 educational event (minimum of 2 hours or 2 points from a sponsored TREA event) to qualify for achievement awards at the end of the year for each individual on the team. Note, there is a cap of 4.5 total points per day for all events. Individual riders will need to record all activities that occur from November 2, 2024 to May 2nd, 2024 (closing date) on one form and a second form for all events that occur from May 3rd, 2024 to October 31, 2024 (closing date). These forms will be available on the website and opening dates for submitting forms will be 2 weeks prior to the closing date.
Team Requirements
In order to earn an achievement award, riders will need to submit one score from a TREA show event (virtual, sanctioned or recognized) and two hours from a TREA educational event (can be from auditing or riding in a clinic, lesson or volunteering at a TREA event).
TREA continues to grow and improve the accessibility of equine activities for both horse and rider. This year each team will be required to donate a raffle basket (due on November 2, 2023) for the TREA Year-End Award Banquet. Baskets will be raffled off at the TREA banquet to help raise money for future TREA sponsored equestrian events in our area. Team baskets will be voted on by the board for the most creative and best basket. The winning team basket will earn an additional 4 points for their team! Let the creativity and fun begin!
Important Individual Requirements:
Note that the above requirements must be met in order for riders to qualify to enroll for the TREA Tap Year End Awards. The TAP Year End Award is optional and requires riders to submit a separate TAP Year End Award Enrollment form at the end of the year.
Thank you for your interest in entering the TAP Program!
